How to Enable Stats from WHM

cPanel/WHM supports several web statistics programs that analyze visitor traffic to your websites. This guide shows how to enable and configure web statistics in WHM.

Available Statistics Programs

  • Webalizer: A fast, free web server log analysis program
  • AWstats: Advanced web statistics, ftp, mail and streaming server statistics
  • Analog: A program for analyzing web server log files
  • Urchin: Google's commercial web analytics solution

Enabling Stats in WHM

  1. Log into WHM as root
  2. Navigate to Server Configuration → Statistics Software Configuration
  3. Select which statistics programs to enable
  4. Click Save

Configuring Stats for Individual Accounts

To configure statistics for a specific cPanel account:

  1. In WHM, go to Account Functions → Modify an Account
  2. Select the account and click Modify
  3. Under Statistics, configure which programs are available for that account

Accessing Stats from cPanel

Users can access their statistics from within cPanel under the Logs section.
