Earlier, we have shown how to configure Enkompass for taking backup automatically by Enkompass. Now let’s see how can we restore a backup.

How to?

Login to Enkompass as Administrator or Reseller

Click on Restore Backup from the left navigation panel.

Now, you will see three types of backup i.e. Daily, Weekly and Monthly. Select the appropriate one! This portion is marked with black color on the image below:

Now select the account you want to restore. See the blue marked area on the above image. If you are looking to restore any account that is already deleted from server, you may put the username in the box and click Lookup as shown on the image with red color.

When you select and lookup any account, it’s available restoration point will be visible on the Available Restore Points section. See the large dot on the above image!

After you have chosen the account and restoration point, choose the options from the Options sections. If you have terminated the account, you have to recreate the account, choose Recreate Account. Trying to recreate an existing account may result in failure of restorations.

If you want to restore subdomains check on Restore Sub-domain Entries. For restoring email configurations check on Restore Mail Config. For restoring DBs check Restore Databases and Accounts.

When you are recreating account, you may need to check on all the options. However, be careful, if you are restoring parts for an existing account.

Finally, hit the button Start Restore.

You’re done!
